No. The app is $2.99 and Pro is $14.99, each paid once through the Mac App Store. Updates are included.

Buy Whisperer on the Mac App Store, open it, and choose Upgrade to Pro inside the app. Pro is tied to your Apple ID, so Restore Purchases brings it back on another Mac.

Are there limits on minutes or meetings?

No. Record as many meetings as you like, for as long as you like. Everything runs on your Mac, so there is nothing to meter.

Do I need to pay for an AI as well?

No. The built-in model writes notes for free on your Mac. Connecting Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini is optional and uses a plan you already have.

Refunds are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, under the App Store's standard policy.
